What is a Virtual Assistant?

A Virtual Assistant or VA is a professional that provides administrative, marketing, project management, creative, and technical support to business owners, entrepreneurs and other busy professionals. Virtual assistants work remotely and use their own equipment and software.  A VA can help with any task or project that is usually handled by an on-site employee. VA's are subcontractors that are only paid for the hours required to perform each task.  Since they are not an employee, you do not pay for breaks, lunches, vacations and benefits.

What are your rates? 

I have hourly rates, project rates and retainer rates - whatever suits your needs best.  My rates depend on a variety of factors such as the length of time to complete a project, the complexity of the task, the required skill level, and any advanced materials I may need to complete your project. I am not located in the United States. Can you still help me?

Yes, I can! I provide services worldwide since I work virtually.

Why should I pick you versus outsourcing overseas?

Yes, my rates are generally higher than you'll find overseas, but you have to weigh that against the benefits of employing a native English speaker and hiring a U.S. citizen. You won't have to worry about time zones or cultural misunderstandings. Think of your target market or audience for a moment. Would you rather have a foreigner addressing your customers in writing or someone local who understands your cultural mindset and business needs?  There's also no need to be anxious about giving your personal and business information to someone halfway around the world.
